Step 21: Reposition the oven’s top cap and hold it in place with the two screws.

Step 23: Insert the hinges into the slots in the sides of the oven’s frame.

Step 25: Flip the hinge locks back.

Step 5: Using the flat blade screwdriver, flip the latches on the hinges forward to release the door.

Step 15: Next, take out the Philips head screws which hold the inner glass’s metal support panel in place. There are about six screws.

Step 16: Put on some gloves for safety.

Step 17: Lift the metal support panel and set it aside.

Step 18: Now, lift out the inner door glass, or the remains of it, from the door assembly.

Step 19: Using a flat blade screwdriver, bend back the tab which secures the surrounding metal panel of the inner glass. Be careful as you do this.

Step 20: Remove the remains of the glass from the surrounding panel and discard.

Step 21: Get a new Amana oven inner door glass.

Step 22: Position the surrounding metal panel on the new door glass.

Step 23: Bend back the metal tab to hold the glass in place.

Step 24: Lift the inner glass and position it on the oven door assembly.

Step 25: Reposition the support panel over the glass.

Step 26: Hold the metal support panel in place with the Philips head screws.

Step 27: Position the top cap and handle on the oven door.

Step 28: Hold the top cap in place with the screws.

Step 29: Tuck the side brackets of the door under the top cap.

Step 30: Slide the outer glass back onto the door assembly.

Step 31: Return the oven’s bottom trim.

Step 32: Hold the bottom trim in place with the Philips head screws.

Step 33: Lift the oven door.
