Step 2: Get a small towel.
Step 3: Pull the towel tight.

Step 3: Using the flat blade screwdriver, pry off the control knob.

Step 5: Push the new knob onto the shaft.
Beko Oven Knob Shaft Broken
If your Beko oven knob shaft is broken, you will need to replace the selector switch. Since the shaft is part of the selector switch, it may not function well if it’s broken. Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace your Beko oven selector switch…
Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.
Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet for safety.
Step 3: Take out the two screws underneath the corners of the stove top. The screws are on the rear.
Step 4: Lift the stove top off.
Step 5: Pull the knob off the broken shaft.
Step 6: Take out the screws which hold the selector switch to the oven with a Philips head screwdriver.
Step 7: Pull the thermostat off the selector switch.
Step 8: Disconnect any wires from the selector switch making sure to note where each one goes.
Step 9: Get a new selector switch and connect the wires to it.
Step 10: Push the thermostat onto the selector switch.
Step 11: Secure the selector switch with the two Philips head screws.
Step 12: Push the control knob back onto the shaft.
Step 13: Reposition the stove top and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 14: Plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet and push the oven back to the wall.
