How To Replace Beko Oven Thermostat

We will show you how to replace the thermostat in a Beko wall oven and a Beko range oven. Below, we have listed the steps to follow in order to replace the thermostat in your Beko range oven…

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall to access the rear.

Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet to avoid the risk of electrocution.

Step 3: Go to the oven’s rear and take out the screws underneath the rear corners of the stove top which hold it in place.

Step 4: Lift the stove top off and set it aside.

Step 5: Disconnect the wires from the thermostat.

Step 6: Pull the thermostat off the selector switch.

Step 7: Open the door of the oven.

Step 8: Slide out the oven racks and set them aside.

Step 9: Using a flat head screwdriver, flip the lock on each door hinge towards yourself.

Step 10: Close the oven door till it stops.

Step 11: Grip the sides of the door and lift it off.

Step 12: Set the door on a cloth lined surface.

Step 13: The thermostat sensing bulb is sitting on two clips on the oven’s upper wall. Lift the thermostat sensing bulb off the clips.

Step 14: Pass the sensing bulb out through the hole in the oven’s rear.

Step 15: Take out the screw securing the metal panel at the top of the oven which holds the sensing bulb in place.

Step 16: Remove the thermostat.

Step 17: Get a new Beko oven thermostat.

Step 18: Push the new thermostat into the selector switch.

Step 19: Connect the wires to the new thermostat. Make sure each wire goes to the right place.

Step 20: Pass the sensing bulb back through the hole in the oven.

Step 21: Screw back the metal panel which holds the thermostat wire in place.

Step 22: Go to the oven interior.

Step 23: Pull the sensing bulb and sit it on the clips on the oven’s upper wall.

Step 24: Slide the racks back into the oven.

Step 25: Lift the oven door.

Step 26: Insert the door hinges into the slots in the sides of the oven.

Step 27: Open the oven door fully.

Step 28: Flip the hinge locks back to hold the door in place.

Step 29: Shut the door and place the stove top back on the oven.

Step 30: Secure the stove top with the screws.

Step 31: Plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet.

Step 32: Push the oven back to the wall.

Step 1: Locate the oven’s circuit breaker.

Step 2: Switch off the circuit breaker.

Step 3: Open the oven door and slide out the racks.

Step 4: Flip the locks on the oven door hinges towards yourself using a flat blade screwdriver.

Step 5: Close the door till it can’t go any further.

Step 6: Lift the door off and set it on a cloth lined surface. Do not lift the door off by the handle.

Step 7: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold it to the cabinet.

Step 8: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and set it on a sturdy surface.

Step 9: Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven’s top panel in place.

Step 10: Unclip the thermostat’s capillary tube from the clips on the oven interior’s upper back wall.

Step 11: Using the flat blade screwdriver, carefully pry off the oven control knob.

Step 12: Take a picture of the thermostat to remember where each wire goes.

Step 13: Disconnect the wires from the thermostat.

Step 14: Take out the two Philips head screws at the front of the oven which hold the thermostat in place.

Step 15: Pass the capillary tube out through the hole in the oven.

Step 16: Fully remove the thermostat.

Step 17: Get a new Beko oven thermostat.

Step 18: Pass the capillary tube through the hole in the oven.

Step 19: Position the thermostat on the oven and secure it with the two Philips head screws.

Step 20: Push the control knob back on.

Step 21: Reposition the oven’s top panel.

Step 22: Hold the top panel in place with the screws.

Step 23: Sit the capillary tube back on the clips.

Step 24: Slide the racks back into the oven.

Step 25: Lift the oven up and push it back into the cabinet.

Step 26: Secure the oven to the cabinet with the screws.

Step 27: Lift the oven door.

Step 28: Insert the hinges into the slots in the sides of the oven.

Step 29: Fully open the door and flip the hinges back to hold it in place.

Step 30: Shut the oven door.

Step 31: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.
