Bosch Oven Fan Not Working — How To Fix

Step 1: Locate the oven’s circuit breaker and switch it off to avoid the risk of electrocution.
Step 2: Open the door of the oven and slide out the racks.
Step 3: Using a flat blade screwdriver, flip the locks on the door hinges towards yourself.
Step 4: Push the door closed till it can’t go any further.
Step 5: Grip the sides of the door and lift it off.
Step 6: Set the door assembly on a sturdy surface.
Step 7: Take out the screws which hold the oven interior’s back panel in place.
Step 8: Set the panel aside.
Step 9: Take out the nut which hold the fan blade to the motor shaft by turning it clockwise.
Step 10: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold it to the cabinet.
Step 11: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and set on a sturdy surface.
Step 12: Take out the screws which hold the oven’s back panel in place.
Step 13: Lift the panel off and set it aside.
Step 14: Disconnect the wires connected to the fan motor.
Step 15: Take out the screws which hold the fan motor to the oven. There should be three screws.
Step 16: Remove the fan motor from the oven.
Step 17: Get a new Bosch oven fan motor.
Step 18: Position the new fan motor in the oven and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 19: Reconnect the wires to the fan motor.
Step 20: Reposition the oven’s back panel and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 21: Slide the fan blade back onto the motor shaft and secure it with the nut,
Step 22: Return the oven interior’s back panel and the screws which secure it.
Step 23: Lift the oven up and push it back into the cabinet.
Step 24: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet using the Philips head screws.
Step 25: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 26: Lift the oven door.
Step 27: Insert the door hinges into the slots in the sides of the oven.
Step 28: Open the door fully and flip the hinge locks back.
Step 29: Shut the door of the oven.
Step 30: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.

If your Bosch oven cooling fan is not working, it should be replaced. Below, we show you how to replace the cooling fan in your Bosch oven…
Step 1: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker off.
Step 2: Open the door of the oven.
Step 3: If your oven is installed to the cabinet, it will need to be uninstalled. Take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold it to the cabinet.
Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and go to the rear.
Step 5: Remove the oven’s back panel by taking out the screws which hold it in place.
Step 6: Set the panel aside.
Step 7: Disconnect the wires from the cooling fan.
Step 8: Take out the screws at the top of the oven which hold the cooling fan in place.
Step 9: Remove the cooling fan.
Step 10: Get a new Bosch oven fan.
Step 11: Screw the new fan to the oven and reconnect the wires to the terminals.
Step 12: Reposition the oven’s back panel and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 13: Lift the oven up and push it back into the cabinet.
Step 14: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet using the screws.
Step 15: Shut the door of the oven.
Step 16: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.

Step 2: Switch the circuit breaker off.
Step 3: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven to the cabinet. You will need to open the oven door to do this.
Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and set on a sturdy surface.
Step 5: Take out the screws which hold the top and rear panels of the oven in place.
Step 6: Lift the panels off and set them aside.
Step 7: Take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold the cooling fan’s top panel in place. There are two screws on each side.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires connected to the terminals of the cooling fan.
Step 9: Lift the top panel and take out the screws underneath it which holds the cooling fan in place.
Step 10: Remove the cooling fan.
Step 11: Get a new Bosch oven fan.
Step 12: Position the new cooling fan on the panel and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 13: Lower the oven’s top panel and reconnect the wires to the terminals of the cooling fan.
Step 14: Return the screws on the sides of the oven which hold the top panel in place.
Step 15: Reposition the oven’s top and rear panels.
Step 16: Hold the panels in place with the screws.
Step 17: Lift the oven back into the cabinet.
Step 18: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet using the screws.
Step 19: Shut the door of the oven.
Step 20: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.
