Step 10: Set the door on a sturdy cloth lined surface.
Step 11: Take out the screws which holds the oven’s bottom panel.
Step 12: Insert your hands into the slots in the bottom panel and lift it out.
Step 13: The igniter is on the right side of the burner tube. Take out the screws which hold the igniter to the burner tube using a Torx screwdriver.
Step 14: Get a pair of wire strippers and cut the igniter wires. Snip the wires as close to the igniter as you can.
Step 15: Strip the insulation off the ends of the wires in the oven to about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch.

Watch the video below for a visual of how to replace the igniter in your Bosch oven.
2. Safety Valve
If your Bosch gas oven still doesn’t heat after replacing the igniter, the safety valve is the next component to check. The safety valve sends gas to the igniter. If the safety valve fails, the igniter won’t receive any gas to ignite. Contact a technician to test the safety valve and replace it.
3. Damaged Wires
If neither the igniter or safety valve is faulty, you should inspect the wires next. Inspect the wires connected to the terminals of the igniter and safety valve. If you notice that the wires are burnt or damaged in any way, they should be fixed. Contact a technician to fix the wires.
4. Control Board
The control board is the final possible reason why your Bosch gas oven won’t heat. The control board sends voltage to each component in the oven in order for them to function. If the control board fails, it won’t send voltage to the oven components. Before replacing this component, make sure to test every other component above. If they aren’t faulty, read the “Bosch Electric Oven Not Heating” section above to replace the control board in your Bosch oven.
