Step 2: Spread the clingfilm wrap on a flat surface.
Step 3: Put on your gloves and get the oven cleaner.
Step 4: Spray the cleaner on the clingfilm.
Step 5: Place the racks on the clingfilm wrap.
Step 6: Now, spray the racks with the cleaner. Keep your face at a distance as you do this and make sure you don’t get it on your skin.
Step 7: Wrap the racks in more clingfilm and leave them overnight.
Step 8: The next day, unwrap the racks.
Step 9: Wash the racks with some soapy water. This is to get rid of the oven cleaner residue.
Step 10: Rinse the racks.
Step 11: Place the racks on a cloth to dry.

This method doesn’t involve any chemicals like the oven cleaner method does, but it requires more effort. To clean the racks in your Bosch oven, do the following…
Step 1: Take out the racks from the oven.
Step 2: Spread a cloth on the floor of a bath tub.
Step 3: Place the racks on the cloth.
Step 4: Plug the drain of the tub.
Step 5: Submerge the racks in the hottest water possible.
Step 6: Get a cup of detergent and dissolve it in some water. You can use powdered or liquid detergent, however, powdered is better.
Step 7: Pour the dissolved detergent over the racks.
Step 8: Leave the racks to sit in the hot water overnight.
Step 9: The next day, get a sponge.
Step 10: Scrub the racks with the sponge.
Step 11: Rinse the racks and leave them to dry.
Step 12: Once the racks are dry, return them to the oven.

For this final method, you will need ammonia. Follow the steps listed below to clean your Bosch oven racks with ammonia…
Step 1: Open the door of the oven and slide the racks out.
Step 2: Get a large plastic bag.
Step 3: Place the racks in the plastic bag.
Step 4: Pour some ammonia into the bag. You don’t need to submerge the racks in the ammonia.
Step 5: Tie the bag to seal in the ammonia fumes.
Step 6: Leave the racks to sit overnight.
Step 7: The next day, put on some gloves.
Step 8: Take the racks out of the bag and wipe off the dirt.
Step 9: Place the racks in a bowl of warm soapy water for a few minutes. This is to get rid of any ammonia residue.
Step 10: Rinse the racks.
Step 11: Place the racks on a cloth to dry.
Step 12: Once the racks are dry, slide them back into the oven.
