Step 10: Wipe the door with a paper towel to get rid of any bits of the dishwasher tablet.

Step 11: Spray some water on the door to rinse.

Step 12: Wipe the door with a cloth.

Step 13: Spray more water on the door to get rid of the oven cleaner residue if you need to.

2. Baking Soda

If you don’t have a dishwasher tablet on hand, you could always clean your Electrolux oven glass with baking soda. Follow the steps listed below to clean your Electrolux oven glass with baking soda…

Step 1: Turn the oven off.

Step 2: Open the door of the oven.

Step 3: Get a small bowl.

Step 4: Pour some baking soda into the small bowl.

Step 5: Slowly add water to the baking soda till a thick paste is formed. Make sure to add the water little by little so that you don’t end up with a runny paste.

Step 6: Apply a generous amount of the baking soda paste on the door glass using a soft sponge or brush.

Step 7: Leave the baking soda paste to sit for 30 minutes to an hour.

Step 8: Afterwards, get a wet sponge and use it to scrub the door glass. All the dirt on the door should come off easily.

How To Clean In Between Electrolux Oven Glass

To clean in between your Electrolux oven glass, follow the steps below…

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall and unplug the power cord for safety.

Step 2: Open the oven door.

Step 3: Flip the locks on the hinges towards yourself with a flat head screwdriver.

Step 4: Close the door till it stops then lift it off.

Step 5: Set the door on a cloth lined surface.

Step 6: Pour some water and dishwashing soap into a bowl.

Step 7: Get a washcloth and dip it into the water.

Step 8: Wring the cloth out.

Step 9: Get a yard stick and wrap the cloth around it.

Step 10: Secure the cloth to the stick with rubber bands.

Step 11: Insert the stick into the bottom of the door and move it around to clean the glass.

Step 12: Remove the stick and unwrap the cloth from it.

Step 13: Rinse the cloth and wrap it back on the yard stick.

Step 14: Insert it into the bottom of the door and move it around to remove any soap residue.

Step 15: Unwrap the cloth from the stick and wrap a paper towel around it.

Step 16: Insert it into the door and move it around to dry the glass.

Step 17: Lift the door.

Step 18: Position the door hinges into the slots on the sides of the oven.

Step 19: Open the door fully.

Step 20: Flip the hinge locks back to hold the door in place.

Step 21: Close the door.

Step 22: Reconnect the power to the oven.

Electrolux Oven Glass Shattered — What To Do

If your Electrolux oven glass is shattered, you will need to replace it. We will show you how to replace both an Electrolux oven inner glass and Electrolux oven outer glass.

1. Outer Glass

Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace your Electrolux oven outer glass…

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.

Step 2: For safety, unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.

Step 3: Open the oven door.

Step 4: Flip the hinge locks towards yourself using a flat head screwdriver. There is one lock on each door hinge.

Step 5: Close the door till it can’t go any further.

Step 6: Lift the door off.

Step 7: Set the door on a cloth lined surface.

Step 8: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws at the bottom of the oven door.

Step 9: Lift the bottom piece off and set it aside.

Step 10: Remove the remains of the outer glass.

Step 11: Get a new outer glass.

Step 12: Slide the glass onto the door assembly.

Step 13: Reposition the bottom piece and hold it in place with the Philips head screwdriver.

Step 14: Lift the door off the surface.

Step 15: Insert the door hinges into the slots in the sides of the oven frame.

Step 16: Open the oven door.

Step 17: Flip the hinge locks back.

Step 18: Shut the door.

Step 19: Reconnect the oven’s power.

Step 20: Push the oven back into place.

2. Inner Glass

Below are the steps you need to follow in order to replace your inner Electrolux oven glass…

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall to access the power cord.

Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.

Step 3: Open the oven door.

Step 4: Use a flat blade screwdriver to flip the locks on the door hinges forward. There is one lock on each door hinge.

Step 5: Close the door till it stops.

Step 6: Grip the sides of the door and lift it off the oven.

Step 7: Set the door on a surface lined with a cloth.

Step 8: Use a Philips head screwdriver to take out the screws at the bottom of the oven door. Depending on your oven model, there will be two to four screws.

Step 9: Slide off the bottom trim piece and outer door glass.

Step 10: Flip the door assembly over.

Step 11: Take out the two Philips head screws which hold the handle to the oven door.

Step 12: Remove the door handle and top cap.

Step 13: Take out the screws on the sides of the oven door which hold the hinges in place.

Step 14: Set the hinges aside.

Step 15: Flip the door over again.

Step 16: Using a quarter inch nut driver, take out the screws which hold the metal shield in place. There are about 8 screws.

Step 17: Lift the shield off and set it aside.

Step 18: Get rid of any broken glass remains.

Step 19: Get a new inner glass.

Step 20: Position the glass in the oven door.

Step 21: Reposition the metal shield and hold it in place with the quarter inch screws.

Step 22: Position the hinges on the oven door.

Step 23: Secure the hinges with the Philips head screws.

Step 24: Reposition the handle and cap on the door assembly and hold them in place with the two Philips head screws.

Step 25: Slide the outer glass back onto the door assembly.

Step 26: If the bottom trim piece is separate from the outer glass, return it.

Step 27: Secure the bottom trim with the screws.

Step 28: Position the door hinges back into the slots in the sides of the oven frame.

Step 29: Open the oven door fully.

Step 30: Flip the hinge locks back to hold the door in place.

Step 31: Shut the door and plug the oven’s power cord back in.

Step 32: Push the oven back into place.
