Step 4: Plug the bathtub drain to prevent any water from going out.

Step 5: Submerge the racks in hot water. The water should be as hot as possible.

Step 6: Get a cup of detergent and dissolve it in some water.

Step 7: Pour the detergent over the oven racks. It is best to use powdered detergent for this.

Step 8: Sprinkle some more powdered detergent over the racks. Do not dissolve it this time.
