Electrolux Oven Fan Won’t Turn On — How To Fix
If the convection fan of your Electrolux oven won’t turn on, it’s probably faulty. Follow these steps to replace the convection fan…
Step 1: Unplug the oven’s power cord.
Step 2: Using a quarter inch nut driver, take out the screws which hold the upper and lower back panels in place.
Step 3: Set the panels aside and open the door of the oven.
Step 4: Slide out the oven racks.
Step 5: Use a Philips head screwdriver to take out the two screws which hold the hinges to the oven door.
Step 6: Close the door till it’s partially open then lift it off.
Step 7: Take out the screws holding the fan blade cover in place.
Step 8: Using an adjustable wrench, take out the nut which holds the fan blade in place by turning it clockwise.
Step 9: Remove the blade and remove the screws which hold the fan motor in place.
Step 10: Disconnect the wires from the motor and get a new one.
Step 11: Connect the wires to the motor and screw it into place.
Step 12: Return the fan blade and nut which secures it.
Step 13: Reposition the fan blade cover and secure with the screws.
Step 14: Return the oven racks.
Step 15: Reposition the oven door on the hinges and open it.
Step 16: Return the screws which hold the hinges to the door and shut the door.
Step 17: Return the oven’s back panel and hold them in place with the screws.
Step 18: Plug the oven back in.
