Step 1: Before you start the repair on your Estate oven, disconnect the power. Do this by unplugging the cord from the outlet or switching the circuit breaker off.
Step 2: Next, get a Philips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Pull the oven away from the wall.
Step 4: Use the Philips head screwdriver to take out the screws which hold the upper panel on the oven’s rear. There should be about four Philips head screws.
Step 5: Once you have taken out the screws, lift the upper panel off the oven.
Step 6: Set the panel aside.
Step 7: Note where each wire connects to on the control board by taking a picture. This will ensure that you properly install the new board.
Step 8: Remove the insulation underneath the control board and set it aside.
Step 9: Disconnect the wires connected to the control board.
Step 10: Use the Philips head screwdriver to take out the two screws which hold the control board in place.
Step 11: Remove the board from the oven.
Step 12: Get a new Estate oven control board.
Step 13: Peel the overlay off the old control board and stick it to the new one.
Step 14: Position the new board on the oven.
Step 15: Hold the new board in place using the two Philips head screws.
Step 16: Connect the wires to the control board. Use the picture you took for reference to ensure that you connect the wires to the right places.
Step 17: Return the insulation underneath the control board.
Step 18: Reposition the upper panel on the oven’s rear.
Step 19: Hold the panel in place with the four Philips head screws.
Step 20: Reconnect the power to the oven by plugging the cord back into the outlet or switching the circuit breaker back on.
Step 21: Return the oven to its usual position.

If your Estate oven control panel is not working, you will need to replace the touchpad or overlay. Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace the touchpad of your Estate oven…
Step 1: As always, make sure to disconnect the power to your oven by switching the circuit breaker off. You could also unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Step 2: Get a Philips screwdriver.
Step 3: To access the oven’s rear, pull the oven away from the wall.
Step 4: Now, use the Philips screwdriver to take out the screws which secure the upper panel on the oven’s rear. There should be four Philips head screws.
Step 5: Once you have taken out the screws, lift the upper panel off the oven.
Step 6: Set the panel aside.
Step 7: Remove the insulation underneath the control board and set it aside.
Step 8: Use the Philips head screwdriver to take out the two screws which hold the board to the oven.
Step 9: Take a picture of the control board to note where each wire goes.
Step 10: Once you have taken the picture, disconnect the wires from the board.
Step 11: Get a heat gun and a putty knife.
Step 12: Use the heat gun to melt the glue which helps the touchpad stick to the board. Do not place the heat gun too close to the board as it will damage it.
Step 13: Use the putty knife to carefully pry the touchpad off the control board.
Step 14: Get a new touchpad. It is also known as an overlay.
Step 15: Peel the backing off the touchpad.
Step 16: Stick the new touchpad to the control board.
Step 17: Take the control board to the oven and reconnect the wires. Make sure that each one goes to the right place.
Step 18: Position the board on the oven and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 19: Return the insulation under the control board.
Step 20: Reposition the upper panel on the oven’s rear and secure it with the Philips head screws.
Step 21: Plug the oven’s power cord back in or switch the circuit breaker back on.
Step 22: Return the oven to its usual position.
