Frigidaire Oven Turns Off By Itself — How To Fix
If your Frigidaire oven turns off by itself, the relay board should be replaced. Below, we show you how to replace this component in a Frigidaire oven…
Step 1: Switch off your oven’s circuit breaker or unplug the power cord.
Step 2: Turn the oven around.
Step 3: With a quarter inch nut driver, take out the six screws which hold the lower rear panel of the oven in place.
Step 4: If there is a screw under the panel, take it out as well.
Step 5: Lift the panel off.
Step 6: Take out the three Philips head screws which secure the relay board to the oven’s rear.
Step 7: Take a picture of the wires on the relay board.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires from the relay board.
Step 9: Get a new relay board and connect the wires to it. Make sure each wire goes to the right place or it won’t work.
Step 10: Secure it to the oven with the three Philips head screws.
Step 11: Reposition the oven’s panel and return the screw under it if you took it out.
Step 12: Secure the panel with the six quarter inch screws.
Step 13: Return the oven to its usual position.
Step 14: Reconnect the oven’s power by plugging it back in or switching the circuit breaker back on.

Frigidaire Oven Off Button Not Working — How To Fix
If the off button on your Frigidaire oven isn’t working, the overlay is faulty. To replace a faulty Frigidaire oven overlay, do the following…
Step 1: Disconnect the oven’s power by unplugging the power cord.
Step 2: Turn the oven around.
Step 3: Using a nut driver, take out the six screws which secure the upper back panel of the oven.
Step 4: Lift the panel off.
Step 5: Take out the Philips head screws which hold the control board to the control panel. There should be four screws.
Step 6: Using a putty knife, gently pry off the overlay from the control board.
Step 7: Get a new overlay.
Step 8: Peel off the backing.
Step 9: Stick the overlay to the control board.
Step 10: Hold the control board to the oven with the screws.
Step 11: Return the upper back panel.
Step 12: Hold the panel in place with the screws.
Step 13: Reconnect the oven’s power.
Step 14: Return the oven to its usual position.

Frigidaire Oven Light Won’t Turn Off — How To Fix
If your Frigidaire oven light won’t turn off and you have pressed the “Light on/off” button on the control panel, the touchpad is faulty. Read the article in “Frigidaire Oven Off Button Not Working” section to replace your oven’s touchpad.
If your oven doesn’t have a “Light on/off” button, look for a switch on the left side of the oven’s front frame. If there isn’t a switch there, look at the top of the oven’s control panel. Once you find the switch, flip it to turn the light off. If that doesn’t work, the switch should be replaced. Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall and unplug the power cord.

Step 3: Set the panel aside.
Step 4: Note where each wire goes on the light switch.
Step 5: Disconnect the wires connected to the light switch.
Step 6: Push the light switch out and get a new one.
Step 7: Push the new light switch in.
Step 8: Connect the wires to the right places on the light switch.
Step 9: Reposition the oven’s back panel.
Step 10: Hold the panel in place with the six screws.

Step 1: Unplug the oven.
Step 2: Open the oven door and take out the screws under the stove top which hold it in place. Do this with a Philips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Lift the stove top.
Step 4: Hold the stove top up with a thick plank.
Step 5: The light switch is on the left. Disconnect the wire plug from it.
Step 6: Squeeze the tabs on the light switch together and push it out.
Step 7: Get a new light switch and push it in.
Step 8: Connect the wire plug and remove the wooden plank.
Step 9: Lower the stove top and hold it in place with the screws under it.
Step 10: Close the oven door.
Step 11: Plug the oven back in.

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.
Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord or turn the oven’s circuit breaker off.
Step 3: Open the door of the oven.
Step 4: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the stove top in place. There should be two or three screws under the stove top’s front lip.
Step 5: Lift the stove top and set it aside.
Step 6: On the back wall of the oven’s frame, there will be four quarter inch screws. These screws hold the blower motor in place. Take them out using a quarter inch nut driver.
Step 7: Go to the oven’s rear and take out the screws which hold the upper back panel of the oven using the quarter inch nut driver. There should be six screws.
Step 8: Set the panel aside.
Step 9: Disconnect the wires from the blower motor.
Step 10: Get a new blower motor.
Step 11: Peel off the four foam strips from the blower motor.
Step 12: Stick the foam strips on the new blower motor.
Step 13: Take the blower motor the oven and connect the wires to the terminals.
Step 14: Secure the blower motor to the oven with the four quarter inch screws.
Step 15: Reposition the oven’s upper rear panel.
Step 16: Hold the panel in place with the six screws.
Step 17: Lift the stove top and reposition it on the oven.
Step 18: Hold the stove top in place with the two or three Philips head screws.
Step 19: Close the oven door.
Step 20: Plug the oven back in or turn the circuit breaker back on.
