Step 3: Leave the circuit breaker off for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Plug the oven in.
GE Oven Is Not Working But the Broiler Works — How To Fix
If your GE oven is not working but the broiler still works, you will need to replace the igniter. To replace the igniter in your GE oven, follow the steps listed below…
Step 1: First of all, unplug the oven or switch off the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Pull out the broiler drawer of the oven.
Step 3: Next, take out the screw which secures the valve shield.
Step 4: Remove the valve shield and loosen the screw which holds the wire cover in place.
Step 5: Push the cover aside.
Step 6: Disconnect the wires of the gas valve.
Step 7: Disconnect the igniter wire connector.
Step 8: Take out the screw which holds the igniter in place.
Step 9: Get a new igniter and screw it into place.
Step 10: Reconnect the igniter wires.
Step 11: Also reconnect the valve wires.
Step 12: Reposition the wire cover and tighten the screw.
Step 13: Return the valve shield and hold it in place with the screw.
Step 14: Push in the broiler drawer and plug the oven back in.

Step 2: Next, you will need to remove the back panel of the oven to gain access to the thermal fuse. Pull out the oven and take out the screws which hold the back panel of the oven in place.
Step 3: Remove the back panel.
Step 4: Disconnect the two thermal fuse wires.
Step 5: Take out the screw which secures the thermal fuse to the back of the oven.
Step 6: Get a new thermal fuse and screw it into place.
Step 7: Reconnect the wires to the thermal fuse.
Step 8: Reposition the back panel of the oven and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 9: Push the oven back.
Step 10: Plug the oven back in.
