GE Oven Keypad Not Working — How To Fix

If your GE oven keypad is not working, first try resetting it. If your GE oven keypad doesn’t work still, you will need to replace the control board assembly. To replace this component in a GE oven, follow the steps listed below…

Step 1: Turn off and unplug the oven from it’s power source.

Step 2: Turn the oven around to gain access to the back.

Step 3: Take out the screws which hold the upper back panel of the oven in place.

Step 4: Take out the screws which hold the control panel assembly in place.

Step 5: Note where each wire goes on the control panel then disconnect them.

Step 6: Get a new control panel assembly and reconnect the wires to it.

Step 7: Screw the control panel to the oven.

Step 8: Reposition the upper panel and hold it in place with the screws.

Step 9: Plug the oven back into the outlet.
