Step 5: Screw the bulb back in.

Step 6: Switch the circuit breaker on.

The Light Bulb Socket

To replace the light bulb socket in your range hood, follow the steps listed below…

Step 1: Turn off the circuit breaker.

Step 2: Remove the filters underneath the hood.

Step 3: Take out the screws which hold the bottom panel of the hood in place.

Step 4: Remove the bottom panel.

Step 5: Unscrew the light bulb from the socket.

Step 6: Remove the light bulb socket.

Step 7: Test the socket for continuity using a multimeter. If there is no continuity, get a new socket.

Step 8: Install the light socket.
