Step 1: Open the oven door.
Step 2: Pull out the racks in the oven and set them aside.
Step 3: Put on some gloves.

Step 6: Leave the cleaner to sit on the oven for at least an hour.
Step 7: Afterwards, get a soft sponge.

Step 1: Pour some baking soda into a small bowl.
Step 2: Add a little water to the baking soda to form a thick paste.
Step 3: Turn the oven off and open the door.
Step 4: Remove the racks.
Step 5: Using a sponge, apply the paste on the walls of the oven. Make sure you don’t get the paste on any electrical components in the oven.
Step 6: Leave the paste to sit for a few hours. If you can, leave the paste overnight.
Step 7: Afterwards, pour some vinegar into a spray bottle.

How To Use Bosch Oven Self Clean
Below, we show you how to clean a Bosch oven using the self clean feature…
Step 1: If your oven is still hot from previous use, leave it to cool down completely.
Step 2: Once the oven has cooled down, open the door.
Step 3: Slide out the racks in your Bosch oven and set them aside. Also remove any other accessories in the oven.
Step 4: If there are any loose food bits in the oven, wipe them out with a paper towel.
Step 5: Make sure all the windows in your home are open.
Step 6: Shut the oven door.
Step 7: Turn the two oven control knobs to select the cleaning mode. If you are using a Bosch range oven, just press the “Self Clean” button.
Step 8: Press the “Cook Time” button.
Step 9: Using the “+” or “-” buttons, adjust the time you want the self clean feature to run depending on how dirty your oven is. You can choose from 2-4 hours.
Step 10: Press the “Cook Time” button twice.
Step 11: Once the self clean feature starts, the oven door will lock and start to heat up to high temperatures. Do not go close to the oven during the self clean cycle or you could get a burn. As soon as the self clean cycle is over, do not try forcing the door open. Once the oven door has cooled to room temperature, it will unlock automatically.

How To Steam Clean Bosch Oven

Step 1: First, leave the oven to cool down completely if it’s still hot from previous use.
Step 2: Open the door of your Bosch oven and take out the racks.
Step 3: Pour 0.4 litres of water on the oven floor.
Step 4: Add a drop of dishwashing liquid soap to the water.
Step 5: Shut the oven door.
Step 6: Turn the oven knob to select steam clean. The steam clean icon is a teardrop with about 4 small circles around it.
Step 7: While turning this knob, turn the temperature control knob to the setting for the steam clean feature. Do this at the same time as you are turning the oven control knob.
Step 8: After a few seconds, the steam clean cycle will start. At the end of the steam clean cycle, there should be a beep. Open the door of the oven.
Step 9: Wipe the oven walls using a cloth.
Step 10: Close the door but not completely. The door should be open at about a 30 degree angle.
Step 11: Turn the oven knob back to select the “3D hot air feature”. This will dry the oven faster.

Bosch Oven Won’t Turn On After Self Cleaning — How To Fix
If your Bosch oven won’t turn on after using the self clean feature, the thermal fuse has burnt out. Follow these steps to replace this component…
Step 1: Switch the circuit breaker off.
Step 2: If your oven is installed to a cabinet, uninstall it by taking out the screws on the sides of the front frame which secure it.
Step 3: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 4: Unscrew the oven’s rear access cover.
Step 5: Set the cover aside and disconnect the wires from the thermal fuse. You should see the thermal fuse on the oven’s upper rear.
Step 6: Unscrew the thermal fuse and get a new one.
Step 7: Screw the new thermal fuse to the oven.
Step 8: Connect the wires to the thermal fuse.
Step 9: Reposition the oven’s upper back access cover and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 10: Lift the oven and push it back to the cabinet.
Step 11: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet with the screws.
Step 12: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.
Bosch Oven Self Clean Not Working — How To Fix
If the self clean feature of your Bosch oven won’t work, the door may be open. Close the door and try the self clean feature again. If the self clean feature still won’t work, the lock motor may be faulty. If the lock motor fails, it will prevent the oven from self cleaning. Contact a technician to replace this component in your Bosch oven. If you would like to replace the lock motor in your Bosch range oven, follow these steps…
Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall to access the rear.
Step 2: Disconnect the power cord.
Step 3: Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lower rear access cover in place.
Step 4: Set the access cover aside.
Step 5: Disconnect the wires from the lock motor. Make sure to note where each one goes.
Step 6: Take out the two screws which hold the lock motor.
Step 7: Tilt the lock motor in to detach it from the rod.
Step 8: Get a new lock motor and insert the rod into it.
Step 9: Secure the motor to the oven with the screws and reconnect the wires.
