Step 1: First unplug the oven from the outlet to avoid the risk of electrocution.

Step 2: Open your oven door.

Step 3: Take out the screws underneath the oven cooktop.

Step 4: Lift the cooktop and hold it up using a piece of wood.

Step 5: Take out the screws which secure the metal plate at the top of the oven on the front.

Step 6: Lift the metal plate to reveal the door latch assembly.

Step 1: Switch the circuit breaker off or unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Step 2: Pull the oven away from the wall and remove the screws which hold the back panel in place.

Step 3: Lift the panel off and set it aside.

Step 4: Take a picture of where each wire goes on the door lock motor.
