The Lemon and Water Solution

Step 1: Turn off and unplug the microwave.

Step 2: Get a cup of water and pour it in a microwave-safe bowl.

Step 3: Get a lemon and cut it in half.

Step 4: Squeeze the juice into the water then drop the two lemon halves in.

Step 5: Place the bowl in the microwave and let the water bowl on the highest setting for about 5 minutes.

Step 6: After 5 minutes, turn off the microwave and leave for another 5 minutes.

Step 7: Afterwards, take out the lemon and water.

Step 8: Using a sponge, clean the interior of the microwave.

Step 9: Take out the turntable glass tray and wash separately. Do not use the dishwasher for this unless the manual says it’s safe to do so.

Step 2: Grip the tab on the filter and pull the filter away from the microwave. The filter is located underneath the microwave.

Step 3: Place the filter in the dishwasher or in a bowl of hot soapy water.

Step 4: Leave the filter to soak for 30 minutes.

Step 5: After 30 minutes, take out the filter and scrub with a sponge.

Step 6: Rinse the filter with some cool water.

Step 7: Place the filter on a towel to dry.
