Step 1: Turn off the microwave and unplug it.
Step 2: Get a bowl of water.
Step 3: Squeeze two halves of the lemon into the water then drop them in. Instead of using lemon, you could also use some dishwashing soap.
Step 4: Place the bowl in the microwave.
Step 5: Close the door.
Step 6: Set the microwave on its highest setting and leave the water to boil for five minutes.
Step 7: After five minutes, turn off the microwave and leave the bowl inside for about ten minutes.
Step 8: After the ten minutes, open the microwave door and take out the bowl.
Step 9: Using a soft sponge, scrub the microwave interior.
Step 10: Once you are done scrubbing, use a damp towel to wipe the microwave.
Step 11: Take out the glass turntable tray once it is cool and wash separately with dishwashing soap. Do not put the tray in the dishwasher.
Step 12: Once the glass tray is dry return it to the microwave.

Step 1: As usual, turn off and unplug the microwave before cleaning.
Step 2: Get some baking soda and water.
Step 3: Make a thick paste from the baking soda and water.
Step 4: Using a sponge, apply the paste to the stains.
Step 5: Leave the paste on the stains for 10 minutes.
Step 6: After 10 minutes, use a damp sponge to scrub off the stains.
Step 7: Wipe the microwave with a towel.
Step 8: Repeat this process as many times as you need to, in order to get rid of all the stains.

How to Clean a Whirlpool Microwave Filter
To clean the grease filter in a Whirlpool microwave, do the following…
Step 1: Turn off and unplug the microwave.
Step 2: Locate the grease filter underneath the microwave and gently pull it out.
Step 3: Place the filter in a bowl of hot water with some soap.
Step 4: Leave the filter in the water for 15 minutes.
