Step 10: Make sure to dip the tab back into the water from time to time. Also make sure to avoid the heating elements in the oven.
Step 11: Once you are done scrubbing, get some paper towels.
Step 12: Wipe out the bits of the dishwasher tab from the oven interior using the paper towels.
Step 13: Spray water in the oven to rinse off the residue from the dishwasher tab.
Step 14: Wipe the oven with a cloth.
Step 15: Slide the racks back into the oven.

2nd Method
For this 2nd method, you will need some baking soda and vinegar. Below, we show you how to clean an Amana oven using baking soda and vinegar…
Step 1: Leave the oven to cool down completely.
Step 2: Once the oven is completely cool, open the door and take out the racks. If there are any loose food bits in the oven, scrape them off and wipe them out with a paper towel.
Step 3: Get some baking soda and a small bowl.
Step 4: Pour the baking soda into the small bowl.
Step 5: Add a little water to the baking soda to form a thick paste.
Step 6: Put on some gloves. If you don’t mind your hands getting dirty, you can skip this step.
Step 7: Apply the paste on the oven walls using a pastry brush or a soft sponge. While applying the paste in the oven, make sure you don’t get it on any of the heating elements as this could damage them. If you can, remove the heating elements from the oven.
Step 8: After applying the paste, shut the door and leave it to sit for a few hours. If possible, leave it overnight.
Step 9: Afterwards, get a spray bottle.
Step 10: Pour some vinegar into the spray bottle.
Step 11: Open the oven door and spray the vinegar on the walls.
Step 12: Get a sponge and scrub the oven interior.
Step 13: Wipe out the baking soda in the oven with some paper towels.

Step 15: If there are any black spots in the oven, get a pumice stone.
Step 16: Dip the pumice stone into some water and scrub the black spots off.

Note that store bought oven cleaners smell of chemicals, so, if you are extremely sensitive, it would be best not to use them. Follow the steps listed below to clean your Amana oven using a store bought oven cleaner…
Step 1: If the oven is still hot from previous use, leave it to cool down completely to room temperature.
Step 2: Once the oven is cool, open the door and take out the racks.
Step 3: Get the oven cleaner.
