Step 9: If there any burnt food bits on the floor of the oven, get a plastic scraper.
Step 10: Using the plastic scraper, scrape off the food bits.
Step 11: Wipe out the food bits from the oven.
Step 12: Shut the door of the oven.
Step 13: Turn the oven’s control knob to select the self clean feature.
Step 14: Enter how long you want the feature to run by pressing the “+” or “-” buttons.

Step 1: Switch off the oven’s circuit breaker for safety.
Step 2: Get a Philips head screwdriver and put on some gloves for safety.
Step 3: Go to the oven’s rear. If your oven is installed to a cabinet, you will need to uninstall it. Do this by taking out the four Philips head screws on the sides of the oven’s front frame. You will need to open the oven door to access the screws.
Step 4: Once you have taken out the screws, lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 5: Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven’s rear access panel in place. There should be about four screws.
Step 6: Carefully lift the panel off. The edges off the panel are sharp.
Step 7: Disconnect the wires from the thermal cut out’s terminals. The cut out is beside the terminals of the oven’s grill element. Make surre to note where each wire goes.
Step 8: Take out the screw which holds the cut out to the oven.
Step 9: Get a new thermal cut out for your Indesit oven.
Step 10: Position the thermal cut out on the oven’s rear.
Step 11: Hold the component in place with the screw.
Step 12: Connect the wires to the thermal cut out making sure that each one goes to the right place.
Step 13: Return the oven’s rear access panel and hold it in place with the Philips head screws.
Step 14: Reinstall the oven to the cabinet.

Step 4: Lift the sides rails off as well.
Step 5: To make it easier to clean the oven, you should uninstall the door. To do this, first flip the clips on the hinges forward using a flat blade screwdriver.
Step 6: Close the door till it can’t go any further.
Step 7: Grip the sides of the oven door, lift it off, and set it aside on a cloth lined surface.
Step 8: Put on some rubber gloves or nylon gloves.
Step 9: Pour some water into a small bowl and get the dishwasher tab.
