Step 1: Get a lemon and divide it in two.

Step 2: Get a microwave safe bowl and pour a cup of water in it.

Step 3: Take the cut lemon and squeeze the juice into the water. When you can’t squeeze anymore juice from it, drop it into the water.

Step 4: Place the bowl in the microwave and let it boil on the highest setting for 6 minutes.

Step 5: After 6 minutes, turn the microwave off and leave the water and lemon mixture for an extra five minutes.

Step 6: After 5 minutes, take out the bowl from the microwave carefully as it could be very hot.

Step 7: Carefully take out the turntable and wash it in some soap and water.

Step 8: Wipe the microwave with a towel.

Step 9: If there are tough stains in the microwave, use a soft damp sponge to scrub them before wiping the microwave.

Step 1: Disconnect the microwave from the outlet.

Step 2: Look underneath the microwave, the grease filters will be right there.

Step 3: To take out the grease filters grasp the ring on each one, push back, then take them out.

Step 4: If your microwave model has two filters on the extendable hood, you will need to unscrew them and take out the cover before you are able to take them out.

Step 5: Do not put the filters in a dishwasher, instead, place them in a bowl of hot water with some dishwashing soap.

Step 6: Use a soft sponge to scrub all the grease off the filter.

Step 7: Rinse the grease filter with some cool water.

Step 8: Let the filters dry.

Step 9: To reinstall the filter, Push it backward then pull forward to lock.

Step 10: For the other type of grease filters, slide them into the frame then secure with the screws.

Step 11: Plug the microwave back in.

Step 1: Open the oven door.

Step 2: Take out the racks and any other accessories in the oven.

Step 3: If there is any burnt debris in the oven, scrape it off using a plastic scraper.

Step 4: Wipe out the burnt debris with a paper cloth.

Step 5: Spray some water all over the oven interior. Submerge any soils in the oven with water.

Step 9: Once the cycle is over, press the upper or lower “Clear/Off” button.
