Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.
Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.
Step 3: Leave the oven unplugged for 5 minutes.
Step 4: After 5 minutes, plug the oven’s power cord back in.
Kenmore Oven F10 Reset
If your oven shows an F10 error code, first reset the control board. If you don’t know how to do this, read the section directly above this one. If that doesn’t fix the problem, the sensor should be replaced. Follow the steps below to replace the temperature sensor of your Kenmore oven…
Step 1: Unplug the oven’s power cord.
Step 2: Open the door of the oven.
Step 3: Slide out the oven racks and set them aside.
Step 4: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the two screws which hold the temperature sensor to the oven’s back wall. The sensor is on the upper left corner.
Step 5: Pull the sensor out and disconnect the wire plug from it. Make sure the wire doesn’t fall through the hole in the oven’s back wall.
Step 6: Get a new sensor and connect the wire plug to it.
Step 7: Push the sensor in and hold it in place with the two Philips head screws.
Step 8: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 9: Shut the door.
Step 10: Plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet.
