How To Use A Hotpoint Oven For Baking
To bake with you Hotpoint oven, follow the steps listed below…
Step 1: Turn on the oven.
Step 2: Turn the oven control knob to select top and bottom heat.
Step 3: Turn the knob right next to it at the left to select the desired temperature.
Step 4: Turn the button on the far right of the oven to set the timer.
Step 5: Let the oven preheat.
Step 6: Once the oven is preheated, open the door and place your food inside.
Step 7: After baking, take out the food from the oven.
Step 8: Turn the oven off.
How To Use A Hotpoint Oven Grill
Below, we show you how to use a Hotpoint oven grill…
Step 1: Place the grid on the grill pan.
Step 2: Place the food you want to grill on the grid.
Step 3: Turn the oven on.
Step 4: Turn the grill knob to the right in order to turn it on.
Step 5: Once it’s hot enough, place your food inside.
Step 6: Remove the grill pan handle once it’s inside.
Step 7: After grilling, turn the grill knob off.
Step 8: Take out your food from the oven.
Note: Make sure not to line the grill pan with foil as it could cause the fat from your food to splatter and cause a fire.

Below are the steps you need to follow in order to use the self clean feature in a Hotpoint oven…
Step 1: Open the door of the oven.
Step 2: Remove the racks in the oven.
Step 3: Also take out any other accessories as they could get damaged while self cleaning.
Step 4: If there is any major food spillover in the oven, scrub it off with a sponge.
Step 5: Close the oven door.
Step 6: Turn the oven on and press the “self clean” button.
Step 7: Choose how long you want the feature to run using the numbers or up and down arrows.
Step 8: Press “Start”.
Step 9: Once the oven is done self cleaning wait for it to cool down.
Step 10: As soon as the oven has cooled down, open the door and wipe out the ash with a damp cloth.
Step 11: Return the racks and any other accessories to the oven.
Step 12: Close the oven door.

Follow the steps below to use the steam clean feature in a Hotpoint oven…
Step 1: Open the oven door.
Step 2: Take out the racks and any other accessories in the oven.
Step 3: Pour two cups of water on the oven floor and close the door.
Step 4: Turn the oven on.
Step 5: Turn the knob at the left to select the steam clean feature.
Step 6: Once the oven is done, turn it off and wait for it to cool down a bit.
Step 7: Once the oven has cooled down, open the door and scrub the interior with a soft sponge.
Step 8: Wipe with a damp cloth.
Step 9: Return the racks to the oven.
Step 10: Close the oven door.
