Step 2: Open the oven door.

Step 3: If your oven is installed to a cabinet, uninstall it by taking out the screws on the sides of the oven’s front frame. Do this using a Philips head screwdriver.

Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.

Step 5: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven’s side panel in place.

Step 6: Lift the side panel off and set it aside.

Step 7: Disconnect the wire from the probe jack.

Step 8: Slide out the racks in the oven.

Step 9: Take out the nut which holds probe jack to the oven’s side wall.

Step 10: Remove the probe jack and get a new one.

Step 11: Insert the new probe jack into the oven and hold it in place with the nut.

Step 12: Connect the wire to the new probe jack.

Step 13: Reposition the oven’s side panel and hold it in place with the screws.

Step 14: Lift the oven back into the cabinet and secure it with the Philips head screws.

Step 15: Slide the racks back into the oven and shut the door.
