1. Jenn-Air Range Oven
Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace your Jenn-Air oven door hinges…
Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall to access the rear.
Step 2: To avoid the risk of electrocution, unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.
Step 3: Open the oven door slightly.
Step 4: Grip the sides of the oven door and lift it off the hinges.
Step 5: Set the door aside on a sturdy surface lined with a cloth.
Step 6: Using a 5/16th hex head screwdriver, take out the screws underneath the two door hinges. There is one screw underneath each door hinge.
Step 7: Take out the other screws above the hinges as well.
Step 8: Go to the side of the oven.
Step 9: Lift the hinge up and slide it out.

2. Jenn-Air Single Wall Oven

Step 1: Locate the oven’s circuit breaker.
Step 2: Switch the circuit breaker off for safety.
Step 3: Open the door of the oven.
Step 4: Get a small nail.
Step 5: Bend the nail into a u shape.
Step 6: Insert the nail into the small hole in the right door hinge. This will help keep the door in the broil position.
Step 7: Get a Philips head screwdriver.
Step 8: Take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold the door hinges. There is one screw above each door hinge.
Step 9: Close the door till it is at the broil position.
Step 10: Grip the sides of the oven door and lift it off.
Step 11: Set the door on a sturdy surface lined with a cloth.
Step 12: Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the three screws at the top of the oven door assembly.

1. Outer Glass
Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace the outer glass of your Jenn-Air oven door…
Step 1: First, disconnect the power to the oven for safety. Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet or switch off the circuit breaker to do this.
Step 2: Open the oven door partially and lift it off, If that doesn’t work on your oven model, open the door fully.
Step 3: There are latches on the door hinges. Flip the latches on the hinges forward using a flat blade screwdriver.
Step 4: Close the door till it can’t go any further.
Step 5: Get a towel or cloth and use it to line a sturdy surface.
Step 6: Grip the sides of the oven door.
Step 7: Lift the door off the oven.

Step 27: Reposition the top trim assembly on the door.
Step 28: Hold the trim in place with the screws.

Step 31: Return the other screws at the top of the oven door as well.

How To Replace A Jenn-Air Oven Door Light Switch

Step 1: Pull the stove away from the wall in order to gain access to the rear.
Step 2: To avoid the risk of electrocution, unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.
Step 3: Open the oven door.
Step 4: Lift the stove top.
Step 5: There is a metal panel underneath the stove top. Take out the screws which hold the metal panel in place using a Philips head screwdriver.
Step 6: Lift the panel up.
Step 7: The actuator rod connected to the door light switch is on the right side of the oven’s front frame. Bend the rod and remove it from the front frame.
Step 8: Go to the rear of the oven.
Step 9: Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven’s upper and lower rear access panels in place.
Step 10: Set the access panels aside.
Step 11: Disconnect the wire plug connected to the door light switch.
Step 12: Press the tabs on the light switch together and push it forward.
Step 13: Remove the door light switch and actuator rod from the oven.
Step 14: Unhook the rod from the door light switch.
Step 15: Get a new Jenn-Air oven door light switch.
Step 16: Take the door light switch to the oven and hook the actuator rod to it.

If your Jenn-Air oven door is locked or your Jenn-Air oven door won’t open, you may have accidentally enabled the control lock feature. To turn of the control lock feature, hold the “Cook Time” and “Stop Time” buttons at the same time for about 4 seconds. Step 1: Locate the oven’s circuit breaker.

Step 4: Take out the screws which hold the control panel assembly to the oven. Depending on your oven model, the screws will be at the bottom or sides of the panel.
