Step 5: Dissolve one cup of detergent in water.

Step 7: Sprinkle more detergent on the racks.
Step 8: Leave the racks in the water for at least 7 hours. For better results, leave overnight.
Step 9: Afterwards, get a sponge and scrub the racks. Use a toothbrush to get into any small spaces.
