Step 1: Locate the oven’s circuit breaker.
Step 2: To avoid the risk of electrocution, switch the circuit breaker off.
Step 3: Pull off the oven’s control knobs.
Step 4: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws at the top of the oven which hold the trim in place.
Step 5: Remove the oven’s top trim piece and set it aside.
Step 6: Lift the control panel up.
Step 7: Slide the indicator light off the control panel.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires connected to the control panel.
Step 9: Set the panel aside.
Step 10: Take out the Philips head screws which hold the clock control to the front panel’s housing.
Step 11: Pull the clock control forward.
Step 12: Note where each wire goes on the control.
Step 13: Disconnect the wires from the clock control and get a new one.
Step 14: Connect the wires to the new clock control.
Step 15: Position the control in the housing and hold it in place with the Philips head screws.
Step 16: Take the control panel back to the oven and connect the wires back to it.
Step 17: Position the indicator light on the control panel.
Step 18: Reposition the panel and top trim on the oven.
Step 19: Hold the trim in place with the Philips head screws.
Step 20: Push the oven control knobs back into place.
