Neff Oven Vibrating Noise — Cause And Solution
If your Neff oven is making noise, the first thing you should check is that the body panel isn’t loose. If you performed a repair on the oven sometime before and didn’t tighten the panels properly, you will hear a vibrating or rattling noise. Make sure that the panels are tightened. If they aren’t, tighten them.
Another possible reason your Neff oven is making noise may be because the fan motor or blade is wearing out. You will need to replace these oven components to fix the issue. To replace your Neff oven fan motor and blade, simply follow these steps…
Step 1: Turn off the power supply to the oven.
Step 2: Open the door of the oven.
Step 3: Remove the racks in the oven.
Step 4: Flip the hinge locks on the oven door and lift the door off.
Step 5: Take out the screws in the oven which hold the fan plate in place.
Step 6: Remove the fan plate.
Step 7: Take out the screw in the middle of the fan blade using a nut driver. Turn the screw clockwise.
Step 8: Slide out the fan blade. If the hole in the fan blade isn’t round, replace it.
Step 9: Turn the oven around. If your oven is installed to a cabinet, take out the screws on each side then place it on a cloth lined surface.
Step 10: Take out the screws which hold the back panel of the oven in place.
Step 11: Remove the panel.
Step 12: Take picture of where each wire goes on the fan motor.
Step 13: Disconnect the fan motor wires.
Step 14: Take out the three screws securing the fan motor.
Step 15: Turn the fan motor to the left then pull it out.
Step 16: Test the oven fan motor using a multimeter. If there is no continuity, the fan motor is faulty.
Step 17: Get a new fan motor.
Step 18: Position the new fan motor and turn it to the right to clock it into place.
Step 19: Return the three screws securing the motor.
Step 20: Reconnect the wires to the motor.
Step 21: Screw the back panel of the oven back into place.
Step 22: Slide the fan blade back and secure it with the nut.
Step 23: Return the fan plate.
Step 24: Secure the plate with the screws.
Step 25: Return the oven to the cabinet.
Step 26: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet with the screws.
Step 27: Slide the racks back into the oven.
