If your Neff fan oven isn’t heating but the grill is, the heating element is faulty. Note that the steps below can be used for any Neff oven if your Neff oven is not heating. To replace the heating element in a Neff oven, follow the steps listed below…
Step 1: Switch the circuit breaker off.
Step 2: Take out the racks in the oven.
Step 3: Flip the clips on the oven door and lift the door off. You can leave the door if you like, but removing it will make it easier for you to access the heating element.
Step 4: Now take out the screws which hold the back plate of the oven in place.
Step 5: Remove the back plate from the oven.
Step 6: The heating element will be around the oven fan blade, take out the screws which secure it. Depending on your oven model, there will be about three screws.
Step 7: Carefully pull out the heating element wires.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires from the heating element and make sure to note where each one goes.
Step 9: Get a new heating element and connect the wires to the terminals.
Step 10: Screw the heating element back into place.
Step 11: Return the back plate of the oven and secure it with the screws.
Step 12: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 13: Position the hings on the oven door back into the slots.
Step 14: Flip back the hinge clips.
Step 15: Close the oven door.
Step 16: Switch the circuit breaker back on.

If your Neff oven and grill aren’t heating up, you should replace the heating element first. Follow the steps right above this section to do so. If your Neff oven and grill still don’t heat up, you will need to replace the grill element. Follow the steps listed below to replace the grill element in your Neff oven…
Step 1: Turn off the circuit breaker for your oven.
Step 2: Uninstall the oven from the cabinet by taking out the screws on each side.
Step 3: Pull out the oven from the cabinet and place on a cloth lined surface.
Step 4: Take out the screws which secure the back panel of the oven.
Step 5: Remove the back panel.
Step 6: Peel back the insulation which covers the grill element wires.
Step 7: Note where each wire is connected to then disconnect them.
Step 8: Take out the two screws holding the grill element.
Step 9: Open the oven door and remove the racks.
Step 10: Remove the light cover at the top of the oven interior.
Step 11: Also unscrew the light bulb.
Step 12: Take out the two screws which hold the grill element to the top of the oven interior.
Step 13: Hold the self cleaning plate and pull the grill element out of the oven.
Step 14: Get a new grill element and position it at the top of the oven.
Step 15: Secure the grill element to the top of the oven using the two screws.
Step 16: Screw the light bulb back in.
Step 17: Return the light bulb cover.
Step 18: Go to the back of the oven and reconnect the wires.
Step 19: Return the two screws which secure the grill element.
Step 20: Return the back panel of the and the screws which hold it in place.
Step 21: Return the oven to the cabinet and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 22: Return the racks to the oven.
Step 23: Close the oven door and turn on the circuit breaker.

If your Neff oven is not heating up enough or the temperature of your oven is way off from what you set, the temperature sensor or thermostat could be faulty. To replace the temperature sensor, do the following…
Step 1: First of all, turn off the power supply to the oven.
Step 2: Remove the racks in the oven.
Step 3: Flip the locks on the door towards yourself.
Step 4: Lift the oven door up and set it aside.
Step 5: Take out the screws which hold the temperature sensor to the back wall of the oven. The sensor should be on the upper left corner. If not, look all over the oven interior.
Step 6: Pull out the temperature sensor gently.
Step 7: Disconnect the wire plug connected to the temperature sensor.
Step 8: Test the temperature sensor using a multimeter. Get a new temperature sensor if the temperature sensor is faulty.
Step 9: Reconnect the wire plug to the temperature sensor.
Step 10: Insert the temperature sensor into the hole and hold it in place using the screws.
Step 11: Return the oven racks.
Step 12: Also return the door to the oven and flip the hinge locks back.
Step 13: Close the oven door.
Step 14: Turn on the oven’s power supply.

Step 1: Turn off the power supply to the oven.
Step 2: Take out the racks in the oven.
Step 3: Remove the screws on each side of the oven.
Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 5: Place the oven on a sturdy towel lined surface.
Step 6: Unclip the thermostat capillary tube on the upper back wall of the oven.
Step 7: Take out the screws which hold the back and top panels of the oven in place.
Step 8: Remove the panels.
Step 9: Pull out the thermostat capillary tube through the hole in the back of the oven.
Step 10: Take out the two screws which hold the bracket securing the thermostat wire at the back of the oven.
Step 11: Behind the control panel, you will see the thermostat. Note where each wire goes on the thermostat then disconnect them.
Step 12: Pull out the control knob in front of the thermostat and take out the screws which hold it in place.
Step 13: Remove the thermostat and get a new one.
Step 14: Screw the new thermostat into place and reconnect the wires.
Step 15: Pass the thermostat capillary tube through the hole in the back of the oven.
Step 16: Return the bracket and screws which secure the thermostat wire.
Step 17: Sit the capillary tube back on the clips in the oven interior.
Step 18: Return the top and back panel of the oven and secure them using the screws.
Step 19: Lift the oven back into the cabinet and secure the sides with the screws.
Step 20: Return the racks to the oven.
Step 21: Close the oven door.
Step 22: Turn the oven’s power supply back on.
