Step 1: First, ensure that the power to the oven has been turned off.

Step 2: If your oven has been installed to a cabinet, uninstall it by first opening the door then taking out the screws on each side of the oven.

Step 3: Next, remove the oven racks.

Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and set it on a towel lined sturdy surface.

Step 5: You will need to remove the top panel of your oven to access the timer module. Take out the screws which secure the panel.

Step 6: Set the panel aside.

Step 7: If your oven has control knobs, take a picture to remember where each one goes then pry them off with a flat blade screwdriver.

Step 8: On the right side of the oven, you should see the timer module if you are standing behind the oven. Using a flathead screwdriver release the clips which secure the timer module to the oven.

Step 9: Get a new timer module and hold it in place with the clips.

Step 10: Disconnect the wires from the old timer module and connect them to the new one.

Step 11: Push the control knobs of the oven back in.

Step 12: Align the top panel of the oven and hold it in place using the screws.

Step 13: Lift the oven up and push it back into the cabinet.

Step 14: Return the screw on each side of the oven.

Step 15: Return the racks to the oven.

Step 16: Close the oven door and turn on the oven’s power supply.

Also follow the steps above if your Neff oven timer is buzzing or your Neff oven timer keeps going off.
