Neff Oven Won’t Turn On — How To Fix

The Element
If the element is faulty, your Neff oven won’t turn on. Read this article to learn how to replace a Neff oven element step by step.
Power Problem
Your Neff oven may also refuse to turn on because the conduit cable wires aren’t connected properly to the existing wires in the junction box at the back of the oven cabinet. To check if this is the case, follow these steps…
Step 1: First, switch off the circuit breaker to avoid the risk of electrocution.
Step 2: Open the oven door and take out the screws on each side of the oven. The screws secure the oven to the cabinet.
Step 3: Lift the oven out of the cabinet and place on a sturdy surface lined with a towel.
Step 4: Take out the screws which secure the junction box cover.
Step 5: Remove the junction box cover.
Step 6: Look at the wires. Each wire should be matched to another one of the same colour.
Step 7: Check if the wire nuts are tightened. If they aren’t, tighten them.
Step 8: Return the junction box cover and the screws which secure it.
Step 9: Lift the oven up and push it back into the cabinet.
Step 10: Screw the sides of the oven back to the cabinet.
Step 11: Switch the circuit breaker back on and test the oven. If it still doesn’t turn on, call an electrician to identify the problem.
