To fix your Samsung microwave, do the following…

Step 1: Go to the circuit breaker in your house and find out which one is for your microwave.

Step 2: Once you have seen it, make sure that the switch is on. If it isn’t on already, turn it on and check whether your microwave turns on now. If the switch is turned on but the microwave still doesn’t work, move on to the next step.

Step 3: Before beginning the repair, unplug the microwave.

Step 4: Remove the screws at the top of the vent cover (there will be two or three screws depending on the microwave model).

Step 5: Take out the front grille.

Step 6: Remove the screw above the control panel.

Step 7: Open the microwave door so that you can get a good grip on the control panel.

Step 8: Lift the panel up then gently pull it out slowly since there are wires attached to it.

Step 9: Now that you have removed the panel, take out the black screw above and remove the metal panel to reveal the components in the microwave.

Step 10: Before going any further, make sure to discharge the capacitor at the right. Do this by placing a screwdriver with a rubber handle across the terminals of the capacitor. The capacitor holds energy even after unplugging the microwave so discharge it in case you touch it by mistake later on.

Step 11: Behind a black box is the tube which houses the fuse. Open the tube to gain access to the fuse.

Step 12: Remove the fuse and connect a new one there.

Step 13: Put the fuse box back and reassemble the microwave.

Step 2: Remove the two screws at the top that hold the microwave vent in place. There will be one on each side

Step 3: Take out the vent cover and open the microwave door.

Step 4: At the right side there will be a screw above the control panel take it out so that you will be able to bring the panel out.

Step 5: Bring the panel out gently because there are wires attached to it.

Step 6: The cause of the problem might be a loose ribbon cable. If you see that the ribbon cable is loose, you will need to reattach it.

Step 7: The base where the ribbon cable should be will be green. Pull the slot out gently and push the ribbon cable into the slot to reattach it.

Step 8: Once the cable is inside the slot, hold it there as you push the slot back into the base.

Step 9: Reposition the control panel and secure it with the screw.
