Why Is My Samsung Oven Only Blowing Cold Air?
If your Samsung oven only blows cold air when it’s turned on, the heating element is faulty. Below are the steps you need to follow in order to replace your Samsung oven’s heating element…
Step 1: To avoid electrocution, turn off the oven’s power supply by switching off the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Remove the Philips head screws which secure the lower back panel of the oven.
Step 3: Remove the panel.
Step 4: Take out the screws which hold the power cord to the terminal block.
Step 5: Set the cord aside.
Step 6: Remove the other screws which hold the terminal block’s metal plate.
Step 7: Set the plate aside.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires from the bake element.
Step 9: Test the bake element for continuity with a multimeter. If there is no continuity, it will need to be replaced.
Step 10: Cut the insulation surrounding the bake element using a pocket knife.
Step 11: Remove the screw next to each terminal.
Step 12: Pull out the bake element and get a replacement.
Step 13: Push the new element in and screw it into place.
Step 14: Reconnect the wires.
Step 15: Screw the terminal block back to the mounting plate.
Step 16: Secure the power cord to the terminal block using the screws.
Step 17: Return the oven’s back panel and the screws which hold it in place.
Step 18: Turn on your oven’s circuit breaker.
