Step 1: First disconnect the oven’s power to avoid the risk of getting electrocuted.

Step 2: Remove the screws which hold the oven’s upper back panel in place using a Philips head screwdriver.

Step 3: Lift the panel off and set it aside.

Step 4: On the control board, you will see a green ribbon cable in a plastic holder. Pull the holder up and remove the ribbon cable.

Step 5: Using an eraser, clean the end of the cable.

Step 6: To clean the cable even further, dip a cotton swab in alcohol and wipe the end of the cable with it.

Step 7: Dip the edge of a small card into alcohol and insert it into the plastic holder to clean.

Step 8: Once the cable and plastic holder are dry, reinsert the cable and push the holder down to secure it.

Step 9: Return the oven’s upper back panel and the screws which hold it in place.

Step 10: Reconnect the power to the oven.
