Zanussi Oven Grill Element Smoking — How To Fix
If your Zanussi oven element won’t stop smoking, it may be because of grease build up. When cooking, some grease from the food could splatter on the element. This will cause it to smoke when heating up. Check if the top of the oven or grill element is coated with grease. If so, the best way to get rid of it will be to leave the oven running on the highest temperature setting for about an hour.
However, if the grill element isn’t dirty but it keeps smoking, the thermostat may be faulty. If the thermostat fails, the grill element will overheat causing it to smoke. Read the “Zanussi Oven Grill Element Not Working” section above to replace the thermostat in your Zanussi oven.
