Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the outlet. If your oven is hard wired and isn’t plugged into an outlet, locate the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Once you have located the circuit breaker, switch it off for safety.
Step 3: Open the oven door.
Step 4: There is a clip on each door hinge, flip the clips forward in order to release the door. You will need a flat blade screwdriver to do this.

Step 12: There are two screws on each sides of the oven’s front frame. These screws hold the oven to the cabinet. Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the oven to the cabinet.
Step 13: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 14: Set the oven on a sturdy surface.
Step 15: Go to the oven’s rear with the Philips head screwdriver.
Step 16: Use the Philips head screwdriver to take out the screws which hold the oven’s rear access panel in place.
Step 17: Lift the panel off the oven and set it aside.
Step 18: Disconnect the two wires connected to the terminals of the light socket. Make sure to note where each one goes first.
Step 19: Get a multimeter.
Step 20: Turn the dial of the multimeter to the lowest ohms setting.
Step 21: Touch the two multimeter probes to the terminals of the light socket.
Step 22: Look at the display of the multimeter. If the multimeter shows a reading, the light socket is still good. However, if you don’t see a reading, the light socket doesn’t have continuity. This means that it is faulty and should be replaced.
Step 23: To remove the light socket, bend back the metal tabs which hold it to the oven using a flat blade screwdriver.
Step 24: While bending back the tabs, push the socket out.

Step 38: Flip back the hinge clips to hold the door in place.
Step 39: Shut the oven door.
Step 40: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on or plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet.
3. Wires

Step 1: Disconnect the oven’s power by unplugging the power cord from the outlet or switching the circuit breaker off.
Step 2: Pull the oven away from the wall and go to the rear.
Step 3: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the terminal block to the oven’s rear access panel.
Step 4: Push the terminal block out of the panel.
Step 5: Use the Philips head screwdriver to take out the screws which hold the oven’s rear panel in place.
Step 6: Lift the panel off and set it aside.
Step 7: Note where each wire goes on the spark module by taking a picture.
Step 8: Disconnect the wires connected to the spark module.
Step 9: Lift the spark module off the mounting clips and get a new one.
Step 10: Position the new spark module on the oven’s rear and connect the wires to it. Make sure that each wire goes to the right place.
Step 11: Reposition the oven’s rear access panel and secure it with the screws.
Step 12: Position the terminal block on the access panel and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 13: Plug the oven’s power cord back in or switch the circuit breaker back on.
