Step 1: Turn the oven off.
Step 2: If the oven is still hot from previous use, leave it to cool down completely.
Step 3: Once the oven has cooled down, open the door and take out the racks.
Step 4: Scrape off any loose food bits from the oven interior.
Step 5: Wipe out the food bits from the oven interior using a paper towel.
Step 6: Put on some gloves.
Step 7: Pour some warm water into a small bowl.
Step 8: Get a dishwasher tab and drop the red power ball into the warm water.
Step 9: Now, hold the dishwasher tab, white part down, in the water for a few seconds.
Step 10: Take the tab out of the water and scrub the oven with it. Make sure not to get the dishwasher tab on the oven’s grill element.
Step 11: Dip the dishwasher tab back into the water from time to time.
Step 12: Wipe off the dishwasher tab pieces from the oven’s interior using some paper towels.
Step 13: Spray some water on the oven’s interior to rinse.
Step 14: Wipe the oven’s interior using a cloth.
Step 15: Slide the racks back into the oven.

2. Baking Soda Method
If you don’t have a dishwasher tab, you could also clean your AEG oven with baking soda. Below, we show you how to clean an AEG oven using baking soda…
Step 1: Turn off your oven.
Step 2: Leave the oven to cool down if it’s still hot from previous use.
Step 3: Open the oven door.
Step 4: Take out the oven racks and set them aside.
Step 5: Get a plastic scraper.
Step 6: Use the scraper to remove any loose food bits in the oven.
Step 7: Wipe out the food bits using a paper towel.
Step 8: Pour some baking soda into a bowl.
Step 9: Add some water to the baking soda to form a slightly thick paste.
Step 10: Put on some gloves.
Step 11: Apply the baking soda paste on the oven walls making sure not to get it on any of the heating elements. You can apply the baking soda with a pastry brush or sponge.
Step 12: Shut the oven door and leave the baking soda paste to sit for a few hours. The longer you leave it, the better.
Step 13: Afterwards, pour some baking soda into a spray bottle.
Step 14: Open the oven door.
Step 15: Spray the vinegar on the walls of the oven.
Step 16: Get a soft sponge.
Step 17: Scrub the oven interior using the sponge.
Step 18: Wipe out the baking soda in the oven using paper towels.
Step 19: If there are any black spots in the oven that didn’t come off, get a pumice stone.

How To Clean An AEG Oven With The Steam Clean Function
Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to use the steam clean function in your AEG oven…
Step 1: Open the oven door.
Step 2: Slide out the racks in the oven and set them aside.
Step 3: Lift the side rails off and remove them from the oven.
Step 4: Wipe the oven’s interior using a damp cloth.
Step 5: Turn the oven’s main control knob to select the steam clean function. If your oven doesn’t have a control knob, go to the menu and scroll through the options to select the steam clean function.
Step 6: Pull out the water tank and pour some water into it. Stop filling the tank when it gets to the maximum line.
Step 7: Push the tank back in.
Step 8: Spray some soap in the oven.
Step 9: Shut the oven door.
Step 10: Press the “Start” or “Ok” button to start the first steam clean cycle. The first steam clean cycle takes 50 minutes.
Step 11: At the end of the first steam clean cycle, there will be a chime, press the “Ok” button to cancel.
Step 12: Open the oven door and wipe the interior with a cloth.
Step 13: Shut the door.
Step 14: Press “Ok” on the oven’s control panel to start the second steam clean cycle. The second steam cycle takes 25 minutes.
Step 15: At the end of the steam clean cycle, open the door and wipe the interior again with a cloth.
Step 16: Reposition the rails on the sides of the oven interior.
Step 17: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 18: Shut the oven door.

How To Clean An AEG Oven Using Self Clean Function
Below, we show you how to use the self clean function in an AEG oven…
Step 1: Open the oven door.
Step 2: Slide out the racks in the oven and set aside.
Step 3: Lift the two side rails up and remove them from the oven.
Step 4: Wipe out any loose food bits from the oven’s interior using a cloth. This will prevent the oven from smoking too much.
Step 5: Shut the door.
Step 6: Go to the oven’s menu and scroll through the options to select the “Pyrolytic function”. If this doesn’t work on your oven model, turn the control knob to the left to select the “Pyrolytic function”.
Step 7: Press “Start”. Once you press the start button, the oven door will lock automatically. The oven cavity will heat up and turn all the grease and food bits in the oven to ash.
Step 8: At the end of the self clean cycle, you will hear a signal. Do not try opening the oven door immediately after the self clean cycle as it will still be locked.
Step 9: Once the oven has cooled down, open the door.
Step 10: Wipe out the ash in the oven using a damp cloth.
Step 11: Return the rails to the oven’s side walls.
Step 12: Slide the racks back into the oven.

How To Clean An AEG Oven Fan
Below, we show you how to clean an AEG oven fan blade…
Step 1: Switch off the oven’s circuit breaker.
Step 2: Open the oven door and slide out the racks.
Step 3: Take out the screws which hold the oven interior’s back wall panel in place.
Step 4: Remove the panel from the oven.
Step 5: Take out the nut which holds the fan blade in place by turning it clockwise.
Step 6: Slide the fan blade off the motor shaft.
Step 7: Place the fan blade in a bowl of water.
Step 8: Add some dishwashing soap to the water.
Step 9: Leave the fan blade in the water for a while to loosen the gunk on it.
Step 10: Afterwards, gently scrub the fan blade with a soft sponge. Be careful while you do this as the fan blade is sharp.
Step 11: Rinse the fan blade and dry it with a towel.
Step 12: Return the fan blade to the oven.
Step 13: Secure the fan blade with the nut by turning it counterclockwise.
Step 14: Reposition the oven interior’s back panel and hold it in place with the screws.
Step 15: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 16: Shut the door and plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet.

How To Clean AEG Oven Racks

Step 1: Open the oven door.

Step 3: Get a large bin or container.

Step 8: Leave the racks in the water for three hours. If your oven racks are extremely dirty, leave them in the water overnight.
Step 9: Afterwards, get a soft non abrasive sponge.
Step 10: Scrub the racks with the sponge.

Step 12: Place the racks on a cloth to dry.

1st Method
For this first method you will need a lemon and some baking soda. To clean your AEG stove top with baking soda and vinegar, follow the steps listed below…
Step 1: Turn the stove top off and leave it to cool down completely.
Step 2: Get a lemon and cut it in half.
Step 3: Take out all the seeds in the lemon.
Step 4: Pour some baking soda into a bowl.
Step 5: Take one half of the lemon and dip the face in the baking soda.
Step 6: Using the lemon, gently scrub the stove top.
Step 7: While scrubbing the stove top, squeeze out the lemon juice on it.
Step 8: Once you are done scrubbing, leave the lemon and baking soda to sit for 15 minutes.
Step 9: Afterwards, get a damp microfiber cloth and wipe the stove top.
Step 10: Rinse the cloth and wipe the stove top again.
Step 11: Now, wipe the stove top with a dry microfiber cloth.

Step 1: Make sure the stove top is off.
Step 2: If the stove top is still hot from previous use, leave it to cool down.
Step 3: Get a microfiber cloth and dishwashing soap.
Step 4: Dip the cloth in some water to get it wet.
Step 5: Squeeze the water out of the cloth. You only want the cloth to be damp.
Step 6: Squirt some of the dishwashing soap on the cloth.
Step 7: Gently scrub the stove top with the cloth.
Step 8: Once you are done scrubbing, rinse the soap off the cloth with some water.
Step 9: Wipe the stove top with the cloth.
Step 10: Get a dry microfiber cloth and wipe the stove top with it.
Step 11: If there are any stains that didn’t come off, get a sharp razor. The razor should be extremely sharp or else you could scratch the stove top.
Step 12: Gently scrape off the stains from the stove top and wipe with a microfiber cloth.
