Step 1: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker off.

Step 2: Open the two doors of your Whirlpool oven.

Step 3: Flip the locks on the hinges of the lower oven door forward.

Step 4: Close the door till it stops.

Step 5: Grip the sides of the door and lift it off.

Step 6: Set the door on a cloth lined surface.

Step 7: Do the same with the upper oven door.

Step 8: Remove the oven racks and set them aside.

Step 9: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the sides of the oven to the cabinet. There are two screws on each side.

Step 10: Take out the screws which hold the bottom vent of the oven in place.

Step 11: Pull the oven out of the cabinet with the help of an assistant and set it on a piece of cardboard.

Step 12: Take out the eight screws which hold the oven’s top front panel in place with a quarter inch nut driver.

Step 13: Set the panel aside.

Step 14: The board on the right is for the upper oven and the board on the left is for the lower oven. Note where each wire goes on the board you want to replace.

Step 15: Disconnect the wires from the board and take out the screws which hold it in place.

Step 16: Remove the board and get a replacement.

Step 17: Position the new board in the oven and hold it in place with the screws.

Step 18: Reconnect the wires to the right places and return the oven’s top front panel.

Step 19: Secure the panel back to the oven with the eight screws and lift the oven back into the cabinet.

Step 20: Hold the sides of the oven to the cabinet with the four screws.

Step 21: Return the bottom vent and the screws that hold it in place.

Step 22: Lift the lower oven door and insert the hinges into the slots.

Step 23: Open the door fully and flip the hinge locks back.

Step 24: Do the same with the door of the upper oven.

Step 25: Slide the oven racks back in.

Step 26: Shut the oven doors.

Step 27: Switch the breaker back on.
