Step 1: Disconnect the oven’s power by switching the circuit breaker off or unplugging the power cord from the outlet.
Step 2: Open the door partially. The door should be on the broil position.
Step 3: Grip the sides of the oven door, tilt it in, then lift it off.
Step 4: Set the door assembly on a sturdy cloth lined surface.
Step 5: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws on the sides of the door’s bottom which hold the side caps in place. Each cap is held in place with two Philips head screws.
Step 6: Take out the other screws on the bottom of the door assembly. These screws hold the inner door assembly to the outer door assembly.
Step 7: Grip the sides of the door and flip it over carefully.
Step 8: Remove the bottom trim and slide the outer glass off the inner door assembly.
Step 9: Set the door gas aside on a cloth lined surface.
Step 10: Using the Philips head screwdriver, take out the two screws which hold the door’s top cap in place.
Step 12: Remove the top cap and set it aside.
Step 13: Take out the two screws on the top of the door hinges.
Step 14: Remove the two small metal pieces.
Step 15: Take out the other two screws on the bottom of the door hinges which secure them.
Step 16: Remove the hinges.
Step 17: Get new Magic Chef oven door hinges.
Step 18: Position the hinges on the door by hooking the clips on them in the holes at the top of the door.
Step 19: Return the two screws at the bottom of the door hinges which secure them.
Step 20: Place the small metal pieces on the door hinges and secure them with the screws.
Step 21: Reposition the top cap on the oven door.
Step 22: Hold the cap in place with the two Philips head screws.
Step 23: Slide the outer glass back on the door assembly.
Step 24: Return the bottom trim.
Step 25: Hold the trim in place with the two Philips head screws.

Step 27: Hold the trim pieces in place with the four screws.
Step 28: Push the door hinges into the broil position to make it easier to reinstall the door.

Step 10: Take out the screws which hold the door’s top cap in place.
Step 11: Pull the cap off.
Step 12: Flip the cap over and take out the two screws which hold the door handle and brackets to it.

1. Outer Glass
Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to replace the outer glass of your Magic Chef oven door…
Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Step 2: Open the oven door.

Magic Chef Oven Door Lock Stuck — How To Fix
If your Magic Chef oven door lock is stuck, the lock motor should be replaced. Below, we have listed the step you need to follow in order to replace your Magic Chef oven door lock motor…
Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.
