Hotpoint Oven Beeping F2 — How To Fix
If you hear your Hotpoint oven beeping and showing F2, the temperature sensor is faulty. Follow the steps below to replace the temperature sensor in a Hotpoint oven…
Step 1: Turn the oven off and unplug the power cord from the outlet to avoid the risk of electrocution.
Step 2: Open the door of the oven.
Step 3: Slide out all the racks in the oven and set it aside.
Step 4: The temperature sensor is on the back wall of the oven. Take out the two screws which hold the temperature sensor in place.
Step 5: Pull out the temperature sensor and get a new one.
Step 6: Disconnect the wire plug connected to the sensor and take it out of the oven.
Step 7: Connect the wire plug to the new sensor and push it in.
Step 8: Hold the sensor in place with the two screws.
Step 9: Slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 10: Close the oven door and plug the oven’s power cord back into the outlet.
