Step 1: First, unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet to avoid the risk of electrocution.

Step 2: Turn the oven around to access the rear.

Step 3: Take out the screws which secure the lower rear panel using a quarter inch nut driver. You will see about six screws.

Step 4: Also take out the screw under the oven’s lower rear panel.

Step 5: Set the panel aside.

Step 6: You will see the sensor on the right, disconnect the wire plug from it.

Step 7: Remove the two screws which secure it.

Step 8: Pull out the sensor and get a replacement.

Step 9: Screw the new sensor into place and connect the wire plug to it.

Step 10: Return the back panel and the screws which secure it.

Step 11: Also return the screw under the panel.

Step 7: Get a multimeter and turn the dial to the ohms setting.

Step 8: Touch the multimeter probes to the cooling fan terminals. If there is no continuity, the fan is faulty and should be replaced.

Step 10: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws which hold the stove top in place. There will be two or three screws under the stove top.

Step 11: Lift the stove top off and set aside.

Step 12: There are four screws on the oven which hold the cooling fan in place. Take them out with a quarter inch nut driver.

Step 13: Get a new cooling fan.

Step 14: Secure the new cooling fan to the oven using the four screws.

Step 15: Reposition the stove top and secure it with the screws.

Step 1: Pull the oven away from the wall.

Step 2: Unplug the oven’s power cord from the outlet.

Step 3: Take out the screws which hold the oven’s upper back panel in place with a quarter inch nut driver. There will be six screws.

Step 4: Lift the upper panel off and set it aside.

Step 5: Go to the oven’s front and pull off the control knob of the overheating burner.

Step 6: Once you pull off the knob, you will see two screws. Take out the two screws using a Philips head screwdriver.

Step 7: Note where each wire goes on the infinite switch.

Step 8: Disconnect the wires from the infinite switch using a pair of needle nose pliers..

Step 9: Get a new infinite heat switch.

Step 10: Connect the wires to the right places on the infinite heat switch.

Step 11: Position the infinite switch in the oven and hold it in place with the two Philips head screws.

Step 12: Push the burner control knob back onto the shaft.

Step 14: Hold the panel in place with the six screws.
