How To Use Bosch Oven Temperature Probe
Below, we have listed the steps you need to follow in order to use your Bosch oven temperature probe…
Step 1: Season your meat as usual.
Step 2: Place the meat in a pan.
Step 3: Insert the temperature probe into the meat.
Step 4: Open the oven door and place the meat inside.
Step 5: Insert the end of the temperature probe into the jack.
Step 6: Turn the oven on and select your desired cooking mode.
Step 7: Input your desired temperature.
Step 8: Press “Start”.
Step 9: Select the temp probe feature by pressing the button or turning the control knob.
Step 10: Input the internal temperature you want your meat to be.
Step 11: Press the “Start” button.
Step 12: Once you are done cooking, turn the oven off and take out your meat.

Bosch Oven Temperature Dial Not Working — How To Fix

Step 1: Switch off the oven’s circuit breaker and open the door.
Step 2: Slide out the racks in the oven.
Step 3: The thermostat’s rod is on the upper back wall of the oven’s interior. Lift the rod off the clips.
Step 4: Using a Philips head screwdriver, take out the screws on the sides of the oven which hold it to the cabinet.
Step 5: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 6: Unscrew the oven’s top and back panels.
Step 7: Set the panels aside.
Step 8: The thermostat is behind the temperature dial. Carefully pry off the temperature dial. Take out the two screws which hold the thermostat in place.
Step 9: Note where each wire goes on the thermostat then disconnect them with a pair of needle nose pliers.
Step 10: Pull out the thermostat’s rod from the oven interior.
Step 11: Fully remove the thermostat and get a new one.
Step 12: Insert the rod into the oven and reconnect the wires to the main thermostat. Make sure each wire goes to the right place.
Step 13: Secure the thermostat to the oven with the screws.
Step 14: Push the temperature dial back into place.
Step 15: Reposition the oven’s top and rear panels and secure them with the screws.
Step 16: Lift the oven back into the cabinet.
Step 17: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet with the screws.
Step 18: Position the thermostat rod on the clips and slide the racks back into the oven.
Step 19: Shut the door.
Step 20: Switch the oven’s circuit breaker back on.

Step 1: Switch off the oven’s circuit breaker and open the door.
Step 2: Remove the racks.
Step 3: Remove the screws holding the oven to the cabinet.
Step 4: Lift the oven out of the cabinet.
Step 5: Remove the oven’s back panel by taking out the screws which secure it.
Step 6: Disconnect the wires from the fan oven element and take out the screws which hold it in place. The element terminals are on the right.
Step 7: Go to the oven interior and unscrew the back plate.
Step 8: Remove the back plate and take out the other screws holding the element in place.
Step 9: Remove the element and get a new one.
Step 10: Screw the new element to the oven and reposition the back plate.
Step 11: Hold the back plate in place with the screws.
Step 12: Connect the wires to the element and return the other screws which secure it.
Step 13: Screw the back panel back into place and lift the oven into the cabinet.
Step 14: Secure the sides of the oven to the cabinet with the screws and return the racks.
Step 15: Shut the door.
Step 16: Switch the circuit breaker back on.
